We feel incredibly grateful to have found Maddie , the Happy Celebrant, to lead my partner’s grandmother Muriel’s funeral. She took the time to truly get to know Muriel, asking thoughtful questions and really listening to everything we shared. She worked closely with us to shape the ceremony, taking on board input from multiple family members and carefully refining the script until it felt just right. It was such a meaningful and fitting tribute that captured her spirit perfectly. Maddie created a ceremony that was not only emotional, but genuinely uplifting. It was a true celebration of a life well lived. Many people commented afterwards on how beautiful and unique the service was, and that is largely down to Maddie’s care, organisation, and the way she brought everything together so seamlessly. She also went above and beyond with small, heartfelt gestures, like giving out compasses at the end of the service. This was a touching nod to Muriel’s love of travel.
