Family Ceremonies
There are many beautiful, symbolic (& fun!) unity rituals that we can include, and giving your children a special role to play, can be deeply meaningful for everyone.
Adoption: Let’s celebrate your new ‘forever family’, by involving your family & wider network and creating a welcoming ceremony that incorporates promises to provide ongoing love & support.
Family Blending: Your family is special and unique, let’s create a fun and interactive ceremony that absolutely represents you and the type of family you are, and create some new, special memories.
Naming Ceremony: Naming ceremonies put the individual at the centre! So, celebrate your chosen name by incorporating customs from your own heritage, by adding a religious element, or simply by expressing the joy you feel!
Individual Ceremonies
Coming Out: Maybe, you are excited and proud after ‘coming out’ and you want to create a ceremony that acknowledges the journey you’ve been on, I’d be honoured to curate a ceremony that reflects and celebrates you!
Croning Ceremony: (or ‘Crowning Ceremony). A Croning Ceremony is a ritual that celebrates and marks a woman’s transition into a new phase of her life and is usually performed after a woman has reached 50 years of age. It’s a beautiful and affirming ceremony, that challenges the negative stereotypes that have been associated with older women.
Healing Ceremony: You may wish to undertake a conscious uncoupling, a respectful way of helping to bring closure when a relationship comes to an end. We can create an intimate, positive affirmation of your self-worth as you start a journey of healing.
How I work
I begin by meeting with you, listening to your ideas and understanding what you want to achieve from your ceremony.
Then we work together decide how your ceremony should look and feel, and consider including poems, readings, music or rituals that are meaningful to you.
Please be mindful, that in England, Celebrants are unable to carry-out any legally binding ceremonies, however, what we can offer, is to create a symbolic and truly meaningful, personalised celebration, bespoke to you.
Pricing & Booking
Prices from £300
*Prices start from £300 for a typical ceremony based in Northamptonshire & surrounding areas. For longer ceremonies, or those further away, or needing an overnight stay, any additional costs will be discussed and agreed in advance, according to individual circumstances.
